It’s Easier To Obtain Than Maintain

Here’s a thought: is it easier to obtain than to maintain?

I find it easier to start and lead something than to manage it once it’s built. Like Minds is always growing – so I’m not so much maintaining it as obtaining new ground every month. This is a hack I use. I know I have energy and motivation to obtain, so I always focus on growing the things I’m leading.

Faye, however, is far better at maintaining. In many ways we complement each other.

Of course, we can both step into obtain or maintain mode at any point if it’s really required. This balance has been incredibly useful for everything we do as a team.
