The 4 Values of Leaders

The four values that I think matter most in a leader:

1. Honesty. Not just telling the truth, but having the courage to say things people might not want to hear, and to hear things about yourself that are uncomfortable.

2. Humility. The willingness to be wrong, to be corrected, to learn from people who know less than you on paper but more than you in practice.

3. Hunger. A genuine desire to grow, to improve, to understand more deeply. Leaders who stop being curious stop being effective.

4. Heart. Genuine care for the people you lead. Not as resources. Not as functions. As people. This is what makes leadership worth following.
