Together
There is a word I keep coming back to: together.
Together is what makes the difference. Not smarter. Not better resourced. Not more talented. Together.
I’ve watched individuals with extraordinary talent achieve ordinary things because they tried to do it alone. And I’ve watched ordinary people achieve extraordinary things because they understood the power of together.
Together is harder than alone. It requires trust, communication, the willingness to share credit, the ability to disagree without fracturing.
But together is the only way to achieve things that matter. The things worth doing are almost never achievable alone.
The most important word in leadership is not vision, not strategy, not execution.
It’s together.
